Foundrymax offers the Ø60×25mm zirconia ceramic foam filter, a round disc designed for steel foundries requiring reliable high‑temperature filtration. This filter is particularly suitable for smaller sprue wells, investment casting, and medium‑section steel components.

The 60mm diameter round format fits neatly into round sprue bases and pouring cups. The thickness provides greater mechanical strength than standard 22mm variants, reducing breakage risk and offering additional erosion resistance under pouring pressure. Available in 10 to 30 PPI, the filter can be specified for high flow (10 PPI) or finer filtration (20/30 PPI).

The open‑cell reticulated structure captures slag, oxides, and refractory particles through mechanical sieving and surface adhesion, delivering cleaner metal to the cavity and improving casting quality.
