Q: What is the difference between carbonized smokeless filter and ordinary resin‑coated fiberglass filter?

A: Carbonized version undergoes pre‑burn carbonization process to eliminate organics; almost no smoke and very low gas output when contacting molten aluminum, for high‑end castings. Resin‑coated type is cost‑effective for general‑grade castings but produces smoke while pouring.

Q: Is every black fiberglass mesh smokeless?
