Foundrymax offers the Ø40×15mm silicon carbide ceramic foam filter with 30 PPI pore density. This round filter is designed for foundries processing cast iron, ductile iron, aluminium, and copper alloys.

Silicon carbide (SiC) is rated to 1500°C. It provides thermal shock resistance and chemical stability in contact with molten metal.

The filter measures 40mm in diameter with a 15mm thickness. The 30 PPI fine‑pore structure captures smaller inclusions and oxides while maintaining good flow characteristics. The open‑cell reticulated structure traps slag and refractory particles through mechanical sieving and adhesion.
